A month and a half to go...
This morning when the alarm went off John had me in a headlock trying to persuade me I had had a relapse and wasn't well enough to go to work. No joy I am afraid - I still have quite a lot to get sorted before I leave.
John has been practising for full time retirement by making sure he doesn't exert himself too much! A few little jobs here and there, a bit of TV, you know that sort of thing! He said it was quite enjoyable but would have been even better if I had been there doing nothing with him.
This evening I managed to complete going through all the photographs I took at the weekend so they are ready to send to Joani and Roger - I just need to put them onto a stick and send them off.
This evening we had a league game of crib at The Standard. We were second in the league just one point behind the leaders. Unfortunately Kev and I were the only pair to win their game and so we only scored one point this evening and I had to listen to John's post-mortem all the way home - is it any wonder that I never partner him?? He says I dont know what I am missing!
