55 Days to Go...

Good News - John's flight arrived on time.  I managed to find somewhere to park up without incurring costs because, as usual, I arrived early.  I blame Dad - he is, and was, a stickler for time and John is just the same so as you all know the Wiseman's are NEVER late!!!  If they ever are then it is time to worry - big style!

We managed to get up and back from Bristol Airport without having our photographs taken (which makes a pleasant change).  John had had a good flight back and seemed to have managed to relax courtesy of a glass of wine or two!!

Whilst we were unpacking we were very suprised to receive a phonecall at 1.30am.  It always bothers me when the phone rings that late - John, ever the gentleman, let me answer - the call connected and all I could hear was noise, rustling, muffled voices that sort of thing.  John then transformed into Man the Protector telling me to 'put the phone down and dial 1471'  only trouble was that this didn't disconnect the call.  John then became even more cavelike - hollering HELLO down the phone and getting quite agitated - I mean who would make a pervy phonecall to me at that time of night...

...suddenly the penny dropped.  "Have you stuffed your mobile phone into your pocket and phoned me by mistake?"  I asked, he grabbed his phone, studied it intently and then started to smile "How did that happen???" God knows but you can bet your bottom dollar that Janice was to blame somewhere along the line!!

Pervy phone calls are one thing, but pervy phonecalls from your husband???? now they are a different thing altogether!!! and, like an elephant, I am not going to forget...ammunition for embarrassment - PRICELESS!!!

Time for Bed said Zebedee - and we duly went!!

A quiet day today.  It is John's last week in the Navy - what a milestone.  He does whatever it is he has to do and then is going upto Sheffield to spend some time with his mum - insufficient leave for me to go with him but I think it is good that he spends some special time with her and the rest of his family on his own.  We will go up together at Easter.
