Friday and at least part of my morning was taken up with a lecture on Money Laundering - how much excitement can one girl take??? and I still haven't out how to launder my money without being caught (well that would be the case if I actually had some!!).
Lunchtime the three mustketeers, Deborah, Alex and I had what we call a half coffee in Mocha, not that we drink half a coffee but that we only spend half our lunchtime in the coffee shop and then go off to do the various chores we have to accomplish in town. So John (if you are reading this) that means that there is Fillet Steak waiting for you on your return!
This evening I spent a lovely evening with Vix and Trace and Murph (and Trevor when he had managed to negotiate the A303 on his way home from London). We had a lovely Indian and a glass of red - which has gone very firmly to my head. I haven't seen them for a couple of weeks so it was really good to catch up and share my addiction to Eyefetch (photo sharing website) with Vicki and impart to her some of the knowledge I have learned about manipulating photographs (she takes a very decent shot in the first place so it is just a question of enhancing the raw material). Just one question... Who in their right mind calls a piece of software 'Gimp'? You can get into all sorts of trouble if you Google that without qualifying what you are looking for!!
John had what can only be loosely termed as a day of rest - in that he wasn't up at the villa - but spent the day chasing around Paphos sorting some last minute bits and pieces before he comes back tomorrow. I tried to sound very knowledgeable when he rang to ask me where the Electricity Board was but in truth even after 20 years Paphos is still a bit of a mystery to us both. I called him from the Hazzell's this evening so that he could catch up with his mate Trev.
For me it seems as though he has been away for ages, you would think I would be used to it by now but apart from having complete freedom with the remote control and starfishing in the bed, I have really missed him and am really looking forward to him coming home tomorrow. Perhaps I shouldn't say 'home' rather that I am looking forward to him being with me again tomorrow!!
