The Lull Before the Storm...

Just a quick post today after our very late night/early morning - We were taking it quietly and having a tidy up before Hazel arrives tomorrow.  She will kill me because I dont have a recent photograph of her and so I found this one on the internet which shows Hazel (second from left) and members of her running club.  Clearly her desire to wear pink ra-ra skirts hasn't left her looking at this photograph.  Hazel came fairly late to running and is a bit of an evangelist - I have told her to bring her shoes and organised that if she really wants to, and it is not too hot, she can go running with Running Susan - John and I will prop the bar up in Faros waiting for them to finish!  We are really looking forward to her arrival - the Wiseman Holiday Reps have pencilled in a rough itinerary - it will be flexible as a lot will depend on whether or not we have the company of Angela's builders!

We managed to catch up with all the events of last night's Olympics and the marvel that is Mo Farar - what a race!!  Thanks to Mum for texting us the progress whilst we were out - it didn't detract from watching it this morning - in fact when he was at the back of the field it was a relief to know that he had stepped up to the mark and won - we still screamed him home!  We then took time out to watch a film that had been left for us by Sharon and Sean - Salmon Fishing in the Yemen.  We thought it was a nice gentle film and so has been awarded an SFP certificate (suitable for parents!!) and we will recommend this to Mum and Dad - because once the Olympics finish tonight we are all going to feel a bit bereft and struggle to find things to watch which holds our interest - although with Haze here we wont be looking for anything to watch on the TV.

As I always say when we have visitors blogging may be sporadic but I will do my best x
