Kind words...

Whilst we struggle to come to terms with the devastating events of the weekend our hearts have been truly lifted by the kind words and actions of family and friends non more so than those people we have connected with via this virtual world we live in.

I can just hear my dad saying to me 'geddaway' in his faint Cornish brogue if I had said to him that we have had messages of condolences from people he would never ever have met but who feel they knew him through the posts that I make.

Thank you to all those of you who have been in touch and Miki I hope one day we might meet,  I don't know you but you reached out to us for which I sincerely thank you.

  2. Oh, dear Jill, I lost my beloved dad almost 10 years ago (only 69 y.o) and I know your sorrow which never passes. Be strong for your mom!

  3. Dear Jill, I was so sorry to read about your Dad. I read your blog daily, and feel like I know you and your family through your words and photos. I visit Paphos each year and can understand why your parents and yourselves decided to make Cyprus your home. Take care of your Mum and know that your blog friends have you all in their thoughts at this sad time.
