We have recently taken our dehumidifier back to the supplier because it wasn't working properly and was still under warranty and we collected it on Friday having been "repaired" but it isn't working properly. We have a machine that shows us the ambient humidity (give or take) but our dehumidifier isn't showing the same figure and isn't extracting the moisture so it is going to have to go back. We rang the place where we bought it in Polis and we have to take it back on Tuesday because Monday is a bank holiday.
This morning I got the opportunity to catch up with Isobel. I try and see her as often as I can but actually, for her, it probably isn't enough. We always have a lovely time over a coffee and a KitKat. Today we had a coffee and a chat and caught up on the visit from her son, partner and grandson Munro. She had plans to return to Scotland as soon as she is able - currently there is a little issue with her tenants moving out but once that is sorted she will make arrangements to pack up and go. I will miss her but know that this is the best thing for her to do as she lives in a place that no-one passes so spends a lot of time on her own.
I left her to go down to Peyia to meet up with Keith that we used to play pickleball with. When we had to stop playing in Emba we did so without removing the net and spare bats. Keith had been in and rescued them and if there is ever a possibility we can play somewhere I wanted to make sure we had them.
Our date night meal had been moved from Friday to today. I had made onion rings to go with some coleslaw and home-made fries. We were having Naz's local fillet steak and tonight's was absolutely melt in your mouth. Although prices are rising we are still able to eat well at home - our two steaks were 9 euros and so tender you could cut with a spoon!
