Mama Mia - Here we go again...

It was lovely to hear from both Laura and Jane and John to know that they had all returned home safely. There's was a late flight but it set off early which is always good news.  It had been lovely to see Jane and John on their annual Cyprus holiday and lovely that Laura had chosen to come and have some down time with us.

I had physio this morning - Dr Marios was conspicuous by his absence so just Socrates today but I am more used to him now.  He plugs me into the machine and then just sneaks in and ups the frequency taking me by surprise!!!

I had gone earlier to post a little parcel to John's mum totally forgetting that I needed to fill in a customs declaration which can only be done online in advance which was a bit of a bugger.

I shot back home to strip Laura's bed and get the washing on the line so that I could make sure the bed would be ready for when my sister comes.  The weather forecast isn't so great now so getting washing dried will be a bit of a challenge.

I then shot off down to Mums to take her shopping which I promised I would always do once she gave us driving.  We did Lidl and MAS and Paps together.  I know Mum is going to really miss Jane and John although she might not say as much but they have seen her nearly every day over the past three weeks and I know how lonely Mum gets.  Mum craves company but then somehow manages to push people away.  I am sure she doesn't realise.

John and I decided to go back to the Pizza place in Argaka this evening.  They are doing a winter offer of one large pizza with a second small pizza for an additional 4 euros and to be honest there is little difference in the size!!!

It is a lovely simple place with nice staff, good food and reasonable prices - what's not to like?

We had the same pizza as last time one large and one small and they were absolutely delicious - we didn't eat both but have our date night supper sorted for tomorrow!!!

We realise that sometimes we dont actually venture out enough.  We were out and back by 7pm and yes it is dark but actually it isn't really late is it?

Shame my sister doesn't eat dairy as this would be an ideal place to take her - maybe they do something else that she might be able to eat.  We are panicking a bit because when she came in December last year she stayed on the coast down near Mum so if the weather was fine then she had a lovely day but this time she is staying with us and so it is not likely to be so nice.

Time is running out so I know I need to get myself organised for her visit and then for Christmas - I still have gifts I want to organise for a number of people in the UK - for which I am grateful that I can use online services!!!  Bloody hell retirement is exhausting - tomorrow we have earmarked for pasty making for my sister's visit - we will also need to make pasties for Boxing Day so hopefully we can do that next week which is a 'free' week except we have dentists, hair dressers, keep fit and a million other things penciled in!
