47 Days to Go...

We all seemed to manage a little bit of a lie-in this morning after the activities of yesterday.  Linda had to take Daisy for her early morning constitutional because John wasn't about in time!

He made up for it later in the morning though when we both took her along the coast path for a bracing breath of fresh air.  Quite a change in the weather today - no spring sunshine like we enjoyed yesterday.

I am now feeling about 95% but unfortunately food is still a bit of a hit and miss affair although I have to say I did enjoy Joani's famous or is it infamous sandwich soup - I guess for a small fee Joani might divulge this recipe!

John and Roger had some little man chores to complete today - one of which involved a Heath Robinson type erection aka a pole to house a new weather station!  All jobs done and before we all started to nod off on the sofas, plus we only had hard clues left to the Telegraph Cryptic Crossword, John and I made our way back home armed with ham, jam, florentines and tulips - an eclectic mix!!  Thanks Joani and Roger - promise to meet up again before we leave.

The journey was uneventful but we felt shattered.  So I am quickly doing these few lines before we go up the stairs to Bedfordshire - one of us has work tomorrow and it isnt John!
