16 Days to Go...

Well Jill's penultimate day at work ended abruptly as she was sent home with a monster migraine which was so painful that it actually made her physically sick. She arrived home and was packed straight off to bed and a dark room to try and ease her pain. She managed to drag herself out of bed at 4.00 this afternoon, not fully recovered but able to hold her head upright and sit on the settee. She was looking a little better as you can see in the photo although she still needs to sort her hair out!!!

So with most things packed and ready it was trash TV for the rest of the afternoon keeping her company. I managed to cook tea for myself which ended up being a bit of a pot mess instead of the refined Fritata that I was trying to acheive. None the less it tasted nice.

Today I managed to catch a window cleaner that was cleaning a neighbour's windows and arrange for the outside windows and sills to be done the day before we hand over the quarter. Happy with that as it is another thing ticked off the list and Jill's mind is now at ease.

SF has had a successful day up at Droushia as he has reported that the gas man pitched up - small issue with the fire that will be resolved tomorrow - so hopefully photos will follow shortly.  It also appears that the swimming pool pump etc is working and true to his word Philippos pitched up to see what was what.

Cribbage league not updated so you will have to hold your breath a bit longer...
