If We Could Talk to the Animals...

So last night we were going out to Yianni's in Kathikas with Sharon and Sean - it will be the last opportunity we get before they go back to England on Tuesday.

Just before we were due to leave we had a frantic visit asking if we could take Chivers as they needed the cage he had been sleeping in.

Earlier in the day they had come across two abandoned puppies that were sheltering under the container across the field from us and they had managed to catch them and feed them and they wanted to put them in the cage so that they could contact the rescue centre the following day so that they could try and find them a home.

They are a couple of smashing looking puppies (and I dont really like dogs) with lovely temperaments and Sean said that if he was staying he would love to keep them.  John was delighted that we were having Chivers early as you can imagine!

Anyway we got all the animals sorted and then went out to Kathikas where we had a really lovely meal and a good evening all round.  We very nearly came back with one of the taverna kittens (we think maybe Chivs should have company) but the cute little black and white one proved too feral to catch (probably just as well!!).

On our return to Lordos 1 Sean and Sharon came back for Wii challenge - John had quickly created a couple of Mii's but we are never sure if people are pleased with their alter-ego's or not!  We stuck to the ten pin bowling and the girls did pretty damn good - I must check out the Zumba soon and get back into my fitness regime - we keep joking we are going to have to warm up using the Wii if we cant afford the heating!!

The end of another good evening saw us take Chivers to bed with us along with his water and his litter tray - we didnt want him to be confused by his new surroundings and be left alone all night.  This was a bit of a mistake as he used his litter tray about every hour on the hour and boy it was a bit whiffy (courtesy of his cat-flu antibiotics!).  Everytime he moved John whacked on the lights and told me what he was doing - then John was worried he might roll over in the night and crush Chivs - then he was worried he might get poo on his feet (Chivs that is) and then walk it on the duvet cover - all in all it was a fraught old night.
