Wet Weather Returns...

"Droushia'' in local dialect means "cool and fresh" and describes the breeze that blows from the Akamas through the large, unusual rock formations on the north-western slopes and into the village itself which sits at an altitude of 630 metres above sea level.  The rock formations are quite famous in rock-climbing circles apparently!

"Cool and fresh" is a bit of an understatement at the moment and it seems that our climate is unique because we are sitting watching the rain and Mum has text to say they have lovely sunshine!  Looks like pickle-ball will be on down in Paphos this afternoon so John and I will be going down this afternoon and staying for the quiz.

It's hard to find new things to blog about when you are confined to barracks so you will probably get really fed up with photographs of the cats but they are loving the company even if they dont particularly like our choice of TV programme - Chivers obviously finds "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here" totally boring!!!

And what is it about Laptops? blogging is a nightmare when the cats just want to get onto the keyboard - fortunately Chivers is too big now so Minnie Mou has started where he left off - perhaps it is because the laptop is warm?  and, with her ADHD no matter how much you call her she just gives you a stiff ignoring!

Bored with her IT studies and the television MM decided to wait for John to come back from the village and she spotted some sunshine but unfortunately it didnt last very long.

John and I are brunching today - we want to get down to Paphos in time to visit Homebase to have a look to see if they have any roller blinds - failing that I will have to have a look in Ikea - only trouble is carrying blinds on a coach might be a bit of a challenge!

Will let you know how we get on at the quiz - we arent staying over at Mum and Dad's tonight as cat litter duty calls!
