My Lurgy Returns...

I have another outbreak of my allergic reaction although not anything like as bad as last time - it is confined to my head, face and hands but I am really fed-up as it looks awful.  I shall have to go see Dr
Manolis next week just to see if anything needs to be done.  I am not supposed to take antihistamines with the beta-blockers so that isn't very helpful.  I need another referral for the cardiologist anyway so will get that at the same time.

I am not contagious which is a bonus particularly as Nicky and I had planned a walk this morning.  It was a fabulous start to the day and Malcolm and Lou were joining us if they were up and about which they were.

We walked out the top of the village and through Inea on the top road which takes us towards the radar and then we walked on down to the 'Bandstand' to take in the views.  From there we cut cross country and back into Droushia past Palates.  Lou and Malc go home tomorrow so they were keen to take in the surroundings and the fresh air because they will miss that next week.  I think they have had a successful trip getting some things done and getting the ball rolling with others and getting out and about and discovering what is on their doorstep for future visits.

They popped in this afternoon so that I could print off their Passenger Locator Forms in readiness for the airport tomorrow and were then going off for their final time at the beach.  It was a good move because it really was a beautiful day today.  We shall miss them when they go - it is nice to know they are next door but one even if we are conscious of not monopolising their time - hope we haven't.

We didn't do much for the remainder of the day - John was watching some 20/20 cricket before settling down for the Sunderland v Charlton football match.  We had decided upon a Farmyard Thai takeaway this evening so towards the end of the game I nipped out to Kathikas to pick it up.  I was so grateful that Rachel had squeezed our order in as they were going to be busy and can't do a la carte and takeaway when that is the case.  It was absolutely delicious and we have enough left over for our supper on Monday.  After the footie we started to watch Code 404 which is a comedy drama series starring two of our favourite actors Daniel Mays and Stephen Graham.  It was a nice light end to a lazy day.
