At the Beach...

Today we did something we rarely do - go to the beach!  After a delicate start to the day we packed up our things and drove down to the campsite to join the 23.  It had actually been raining first thing and up in Droushia was grey and overcast but down on the coast it was fresh and sunny.

The campsite is a bit of an eclectic mix of people which makes for great people-watching!  There are plenty of sunbeds there now and a life guard (or guards) and a reasonably priced bar and the facilities at the campsite for toilets, showers etc - you can get food there too but as I have said before I haven't tried it.

The leftovers from last night came in really handy and I have to say that they were as good today as they had been last night.  One could almost say they were the best Scooby Snacks we could have wished for!

We left the 23 enjoying the sun because we had to return to Droushia to feed ours and Nicky's cats and to see if the guy who was giving us a quote to replace our bedroom doors had been.  The plan was to do that and then go back down to the 23 and go for a meal at Latchi.  Just before we left they text to suggest takeaway pizza at theirs.  It was a great idea but sadly the pizzas weren't great but we made up for it with some riotous rounds of Know Your Partner.  Another early morning bedtime - I am knackered.
