So we come to the last full day of the Clan's holibobs. So, today was a day for packing, for them and for me as I will be leaving Cyprus tomorrow before they do! Poor John has a double run to the airport as our flights are just too far apart for us all to go at the same time and he wouldn't get five of us and our luggage in the Qashqai.
Having said that my hand luggage (which is all that I am taking) is packed and the case weighs 7.5 kilograms so I still have a quarter of my allowance spare and if you think the bag itself weighed 3 kilograms I haven't done badly. Fortunately I will be staying with my sister so I can always borrow things from her except for clothes - she has always been, and remains, much slimmer than me and I seem to have suffered with menopausal/medication/visitor weight gain highlighted by the fact that I struggled to find anything to wear for our evening meal which is now a bit of a tradition - dinner at Finikas in Polis. If I want to look like a ship in full sail that is easy. I would like to think that on my return John and I might start a bit of a fitness regime but that seems unlikely with Lou and Malc returning followed by Jane and John, with Laura overlapping and then my sister giving us a two week break before Christmas!
As I said we ended today with a meal at Finikas - the photo of Janet and Jackie is taken on the restaurant verandah with the setting sun giving them a rosy glow!
