Our Dentist has Moved

The coptic storm has been and gone and has been replaced by brighter weather albeit quite cool.  This is good for my sister's upcoming visit.  Today I was going to armchair yoga/exercise at Neo Chorio with the lovely Ermolia.  I wasn't taking Sonia today, it is her birthday and I think her 75th so directly after our class she was off to lunch with friends.  I had been round earlier with a card and a present.  I love Sonia - she is such an inspirational lady.

Our exercise class was exacting - lots of leg work and clearly my leggies needed it - I really struggled with some of the routines but Ermolia makes you feel like you are doing really well even if you really aren't.  I managed to leave my green mute ball at the class but thankfully Sonia rescued it and will keep hold for a week thankfully.

This afternoon John and I were having a checkup with the Dentist - the lovely Dr Harris who has left the Perfect Smile practice in Peyia and set up on his own in Paphos.  We had no problem with Perfect Smile, in fact it was closer than the new location but we particularly liked having Dr Harris as our dentist.  The new place was actually easy to find with plenty of parking and Dr Harris examined out teeth and cleaned them and charged us NOTHING!!!!  I think that maybe it was because we had decided to stick with him which is nice but clearly he isn't going to make a fortune if he doesn't charge!!!

On our return we took a photograph of the work Bassam has been doing next door for Jan and Derek.  He has dropped the kerb and is paving the front so that they will, should they need, be able to park two cars comfortably off the road.  He is actually doing a great job and hopefully they will be pleased.

Our poor cats are getting very confused by the renovations next door.  The new doors separating the drive from the garden have meant that Jan and Derek had to build the wall up.  This is the wall that Boo or Charlie would sit on the end of and then jump down into the big wide world.  Now that wall is too high for them to do so or for them to want to do so so they get to the end and, if it is Boris, wail because he can't work out what to do next - they will learn or we will have to put some sort of ladder for them to get down!
