Just a quick post before we go off to Crib tonight.
There has been some dramatic progress on the kitchen on day one. SF has sent us the following photograph to show the cupboard carcasses being put up.
It's amazing how much bigger it looks with the units in. It looks as though we will have as much space as we have in the Married Quarters which we have managed with for the last four years or so. The cooker hob and extactor and sink have all been purchased over in Cyprus so are ready to go in when John gets over. The work tops are going to be granite so they will be fitted by the specialist once the units are finished. Just some tiles to choose and put up, handles to select and a bit more painting and it will be complete.
There should be another update tomorrow.
For those of you interested we have just returned from Crib. A classy night out at the Labour Club!! As a team we managed a 3-1 win. We were only one point behind the leaders and we are hoping that the other Standard team have done us a favour as they were playing top of the table. Will keep you posted when the table is updated. Only a few games left this season. We have been playing for the side for four seasons, we came second the first season, first the second season, second the third season so pressure is on for us to finish top this season. We seem to have managed to take them from mid-table obscurity to league leaders!! Watch this space ...
