49 Days to Go...

A late post as I have only just managed to get to a PC.

I had progressed from poorly to merely unwell in John's eyes so still feeling like a bag of spanners and very queasie he decided that it was reasonably safe to try the trip to Plymouth plus Joani needed a piping bag so we really had to go.

Have you tried getting a bloody piping bag in Yeovil?  Well dont bother - let me tell you they only seem to sell them in Wilkinsons and then the piping bag kit is a waste of money - the bags split under pressure - so go for the syringe type instead - much more reliable.

We managed to get down to Plymouth without me being sick - which was a bonus!  Mewstone House was an absolute hive of activity - or death by vol-au-vent as John described it.  Joani and Linda were in full swing catering for the 250 people due to celebrate Roger's birthday - what do you mean there weren't 250 coming?? it felt like we were catering for it!!!

Read the next post for an update - I had to retire to bed fairly early - still not 100% but getting there...
