My last Tuesday at work and I have spent the day getting a clear desk - going through all those things that you shuffle around because you aren't quite sure what to do with them. A bit like those awkward things that lurk at the bottom of the ironing basket that are real buggers to iron so you keep throwing them back - well so I am told, unlike Mum I am not a great lover of ironing - in fact John does most of it in our house!
Managed to sell our Stella Artois beer cooler at work today - in fact I could have sold it several times over - it is one less thing to have to pack up and take with us and we do have a little cooler over there which Mum and Dad have been housing for us - along with a million other things!!!
Lunchtime the three Amigos, Alex, Deb and I went for a coffee at Mocha - will have to warn Tom that his profits are about to nosedive once I have left and Alex moves to the Taunton office. I have no idea what that man is on but he is always so cheerful.
Had to get John to meet me off the bus tonight because I was carrying home the wii and wii-fit stuff that we have bought from Mark and Gemma - We had kept saying we would get one and John is busy planning my fitness regime already - I know that Mum is good with her exercise routine so I will try and do the same.
John had tea ready when I got home and had baked a cake in the microwave which smelled absolutely lovely and tasted just as good. If he carries on like this then my cooking skills will be redundant and I am going to have to exercise more - just so long as he doesnt expect me to do more ironing to compensate!!
