Well today was a landmark for Jill because after today she has only one Monday left at work!
My landmark was that I was left in charge to tackle my first ever oven-clean as Jill is at work and would normally be in charge of this sort of thing. In fairness Jill had done a good job so far but we have been warned by loads of people that they are really hot on the state of the cooker when you march out and she is convinced that it isn't up to scratch. I am not surprised people don't clean them very often because the stuff you buy is lethal - it must be carcinogenic surely??? At times it took my breath away so I had to leave the kitchen and do things like filling holes until my lungs had recovered!
This evening we are off to Vix and Trev's to watch the not so Mighty Blades on TV - it is a really crunch match although to be honest I think it is too late to save our championship skins and worse, whenever I watch them they always lose. It is just typical that we are moving to Cyprus just when they look likely to be meeting Yeovil in the first division and I could have walked up the road to watch them. I am going to think positive and hope that tonight will be different...

Positive thinking did absolutely no good whatsoever and after tonight's performance future fixtures against Yeovil Town are a DEAD CERT - what a cuffing - my allegiance goes to ENAD Polis from now on - they have to be a better bet and just checking them out on the Web seem to have a reasonable stadium with what looks like grass!! Although it looks like you are buggered if it rains - there doesn't appear to be any stand, seats or anything else!! It will be an experience!!
