We have allowed SF and TLH a day to themselves today. SF was walking up near us from Kathikas to Akourdalia and having lunch at Yiannis's afterwards. TLH spent the day with her friend Eileen walking along the seafront and then to the Adelaida for lunch.
SS and I went up to Droushia once again and today did a massive tidy so that we had easy access to the walls and then went over all the Magnolia with a second coat. Once this was done we started to cut in the paint for the accent wall so it doesnt really look like we have done very much. We have agreed that it is Caramel and we think it should look nice with the chocolate coloured curtains coming out in the container. We realised as soon as we got up there that we need to book ourselves into the Laura Beach in our dotage as we had left our stew on the side in Mum's kitchen - we had to make do with some rather unusual flatbread toasted sarnies with the cheese and pickle left in the cooler.
We called it a day at about 4.00pm and having taken a clean set of clothes up with us had showers and then went down into Latchi to take a look round and have something to eat. We had planned to go into the Latchi Tavern where we have watched football previously and seen that it advertised quiz's and cribbage and sounded like it would be somewhere that we could meet people. Having gone up and down the strip of restaurants we couldnt find it so gave up and decided to eat at Faros on the harbour. We found out that Faros has now incorporated the Latchi Tavern! We both had fish sat right next to the harbour enjoying the evening sunshine.
After a bit of a mystery tour back from Polis - we were searching for a village called Miliou, which we found up in the hills - we have arrived back at Emba.
