Visiting Friends in Limassol...

Today John and I left Trev and Vix 'at leisure' whilst we shot off to Limassol to catch up with Keith, Clare and Lewis who were over for Clare's sister's wedding.  We were supposed to have seen them earlier but poor little Lewis had caught chicken pox and so their holiday was delayed.

The journey down to Limassol went without incident and we arrived early (what a surprise) so parked up on the front next to a park which was full of interesting sculptures.  It was very hot down in Limassol so we walked along the park and headed for a small bar to grab a drink before Keith phoned to tell us where they were parked up.  We noticed that the prices in Limassol which a bit more expensive than we are used to in Polis!

Just before 12.00 Keith phoned and we realised that we were only parked a short way from them so we hopped in the car and found them without any problem.

We havent seen Keith and Clare since Clare was pregnant with Lewis or, as we call him, Millet (because Clare announced she was expecting very shortly after she and Keith had spent the night in a tent celebrating John's 40th birthday!!).

They are now proud parents of a very active and sweet little boy who wasnt at all phased by meeting us.  We walked down along the front stopping first for a drink and then finding a taverna for some lunch the time seemed to fly by as we caught up on what had been happening and John and Keith span some old navy 'dits'.

We finished off the visit by walking back along the seafront walkway before saying goodbye.  Keith, Clare and Lewis made their way back to Protaras and we made our way back to Droushia to make sure that our guests had enjoyed their day 'at leisure'.

We arrived home to find that Vix and Trev had had a really great day relaxing and although we think the temperature has dropped considerably since the weekend they think it is fine.

We opted for a barbeque for tonight's tea before Trev settles down to watch dirty dirty Leeds play Man Utd in the Carling Cup - let's hope the streaming doesnt let me down.
