Pulling Stumps...

So last night the four of us, John and I, Sharon and Sean, went down into Latchi to Faros for a meal.  As always we were looked after by Assein (not sure of the spelling) and had a good meal which didn't cost us an arm and a leg and which was followed by some freebie drinks.

John and I shared the driving, he drove there and I drove back and on our return we decided to have the inaugural girls v boys Lordos-1 inter-villa cribbage championship.  Needless to say that the girls were victorious - we were so far ahead in the third leg (of best of three) that John pulled stumps half way round the board.  It was a late night for us - past midnight!!!  Some random snorey man crept into my bed last night and apparently a very similar snorey man crept into Sharon's too!!

No BDITFND today but John was incandescent when builders started knocking Villa 3b about - I had to remind him that we had made an awful lot of noise when we arrived.  He is so concerned that poor Laura and Mark will have their peace disturbed but like I said it is nice to see that the owners are now doing the villa's up now that they have come out of their rental agreements and we can always escape down into Latchi or Polis.

Today was craft day in Neo Chorio at the villa that gave Vix and I envy - what a stunning location.

Thanks to Vix for the photo of the crafting area (one of the few that I am actually in!).  I took the kusudama flower project that Vix and I started last week - you wont believe that this has taken about 10 hours so far with two of us contributing!  If you wanted to sell it how the hell would you cost it???

Anyway I was made to feel very welcome once again and learned that our host Jeanette used to do the hair and makeup for TV productions like Poirot and Goodnight Sweetheart to name just two.  That explains why she is so artistic.  Lunch is provided at the Wednesday group and it is prepared by Jeanette's husband for gluten-free/vegetarian requirements - last week we had a sort of ratatouille soup and today we had jacket potatoes with some sort of tuna melt which was (I am embarrassed to admit) absolutely fantastic - not something I would normally eat but I actually had seconds!

John spent today keeping Chivers company (or vice versa).  Chivers is most definitely John's cat and John is totally in love with him as I have a report on everything from his bowel movements (Chivers that is) to how much he has played or eaten (Chivers)!!

So just leaving you with today's cutie photographs of our little boy - John cannot wait until he is here full time - we are very grateful for Sharon and Sean for catching him and bringing him into our lives - I am soooooo glad that I heard him crying next door and that I didnt ignore it - I dont know where he came from or how he had survived the last six weeks or so - all I know is that for the remainder of his days he is going to be the most loved cat you have ever met!
