We are hacked-off

I was up in the wee small hours this morning - I don't know why I just felt uneasy about something and so I got up and fed Charlie and logged onto the laptop to find that we had been hacked.  Fortunately it had only been carried out about 20 minutes beforehand by some tosser in Bulgaria but this was the start of a day when we had to change passwords left right and Charlie.  It is all very upsetting and I really wonder how the older generation cope with all this stress.  Let's just say most of the password changes were reasonably easy to do but Cyta Mail proved to be an absolutely bar-steward and I am still not sure it is functioning 100% although I must thank the lovely Rafaela on support for steering me through what what happening.

Today we were going to lunch at Gustoso along the Tombs of the Kings Road.  We haven't been there for years, probably not since we have been living her permanently.  It was Lilian's choice and she was treating us.  John drove and we picked Lilian up on the way and then Mum.  It was Cypriot Mother's Day (and America and several other places too) so we expected it to be busy and it was although we were going earlier than most at 12.30.

It is a light and bright restaurant in it was a lovely warm day so they had most of the windows open but of course Mum was cold so they were soon closed!  We thought it was a good menu with lots of choice and relatively reasonably priced but I could tell Mum was struggling to find anything she liked the look of.  In the end she went for Jack Daniels glazed spare ribs - we didn't like to tell her what Jack Daniels is!  It was an enormous full rack that arrived and she really couldn't manage to tackle them so I cut them up for her to make life easier - by the time she finished she was covered from ear to ear in the sauce!  Lilian and John plumped for lamb chops which they said were good and I had a beef kebab which was nice but as I had ordered it rare and it came on a stand over a bed of salad it bled into my cucumber.

I didn't have a pudding but John said the cheesecake was lovely and Mum and Lilian shared apple pie and cream.  By this time the restaurant was packed to the gunnels and the noise level was ramping up so it was a good time to leave.  We returned to Mums and stayed with her to have a cup of tea.  Sadly after we had gone home she fell over trying to rescue Freddo who had taken advantage of the fact that Mum had not closed the sunroom sliding door.  Once again she has skinned her leg.

The early part of the evening was spent in the virtual company of Rafaela from Cyta support trying to sort out our email address (which she did) and then we went round to Lakis and Argy for a drink and a catch up - they have been here a week already!
