The Morning After the Night Before!

So today was a very quiet day for all concerned after what had been a very successful evening.  We hope that Argy and Lakis managed to enjoy it as much as everyone else did.  They did us all proud.  I got up this morning to be faced with a mountain of food which Argy had given me so the chicken stuffed with sun dried tomatoes and fetta went into the freezer - the fabulous lamb chops and potatoes were earmarked for tomorrow nights supper and the halloumi and more potatoes were packaged up and we took it down to Mums as it was Sunday.

I had made a sort of macaroni cheese affair for lunch - apparently mum loves macaroni cheese - who knew?  This was served with peas and beans and some double roasted spudatoes from last night.  Dessert was poached pears and cream with a spare for Mum to have later in the week.  It all went down well!

On our return from Mum's we got ourselves sorted and then went across for a debrief rather than planning meeting with Lakis, Argy, Sotiroula and Giorgos.  It was not quite such a beautiful evening as last night, more windy tonight so we didn't sit outside quite so long.

This is the view during the 'Golden Hour' when the sun is setting and casting an orange glow across the land.  It is at times like this that we realise just how lucky we are to be living in such a beautiful part of the world.  Last night reinforced what a lovely estate this has turned into.  Lakis referred to that in his speech.  It is a lovely estate although sadly as we all know we cannot get on with everyone but such is life!

For the second night in a row there was a spectacular sunset - tonight there was an amazing blanket of cloud bubbling up from ground level - the photograph doesn't capture it at all well.  I am seriously considering going back to getting a nice bridge camera for occasions just like this!

We moved into the glassed in area which was a lovely temperature and spent the remainder of the evening have a second party - lots of singing and laughing and wine.  This evening much more relaxed for Lakis and Argy as it was just for them.  I will post some video - you might want to keep the sound low - our singing was awful, dancing maybe a little better!!!

Our singing might not have been great but Sotiroula said that listening to Giorgos she had fallen in love all again - I can't tell you what she said afterwards!!!!
