We had a busy day today as George and Pam's daughter Lou and son in law Malcolm were arriving this evening.
We had got a cleaner in to give the villa a 'good bottoming' because (a) I couldn't do it and (b) this year for some reason 11a has been a magnet to spiders and millipedes worse than any other year which is strange as they got rid of their garden plants all bar a lemon tree (which is thriving) and an orange tree (which is not).
John made up the beds under my instruction. We checked the air conditioning was working because, although the weather is cooler this week, we are forecast another heatwave thereafter.
We had nipped down and got the bits of shopping Lou asked for and popped them in the fridge so after a last flick round we declared 11a DONE.
When we had been to do the shopping we had gone to the cat park to drop off a load of bedding which I had sorted.
En route there is the smallest Church we have ever come across. This is dedicated to Saint Anthony aka Anthony the Great so I had expected a rather more ostentatious building in his honour. Having said that it was rather beautiful in its own way.
