Bloody Tourists

Les Grandes Vacances continue on the island.  There are 'Bloody Tourists' everywhere so trying to stick to a normal routine is impossible as everywhere is either packed or gridlocked or both.  The staff at Paos seem thrilled to see a familiar face.  Indeed Niki on the Deli Counter nearly gave herself a hernia racing over to serve me and ask after my health and the progress of my arm.

I had hoped to hear from Dr Marios the physio about starting my course of sessions.  Although on holiday this week he sounded harassed and I got the sneaky suspicion that a week surrounded by his screaming kids (I could hear them in the background) might be a couple of days too long.  He said he might be back in the office early and I was right.  He phoned today just as we were welcoming the safe arrival of George and Pam to tell me to go in on Friday!

It is lovely to have our neighbours in 11b back.  This year they celebrate their diamond wedding, Pam's 80th (sorry to give the game away Pam) and George's 85th.  How fabulous that they are here along with Lou, Malc and Sophie (albeit briefly) and Alicia and Niamh will be arriving next week!

So you are probably wondering about the relevance of the photograph at the top (it isn't mine) that is a photo of Chicken Satay and before Lakis and Argy disappear off up to tge family home in Spilia we had arranged to go out for a Chinese at the Farmyard which was, as always, am-az-ing AND it was Rachel's birthday so I got to see her and give her a card.
